Welcome to the first REAL edition of the Friday Night Crap Fest. Every Friday night, you’ll get the worst of existence. Everything that’s bad is here every week. Tonight, we have part 2.5 of the Cartoon Character Crap Wars, then, a new Crap-O-Meter list. Before I get started on that, my day.
One whole week. No drama. Shocking, isn’t it? You bet it is. Yearbook deadline is here, and I haven’t gotten all of my pictures. The reasoning behind this? I went to take some tonight at the mall and stuff, but you can’t take pictures at the mall, because of the whole 9/11 thing. So, I went a couple other places, and either people were too busy for pictures, or they won’t allow people to take pictures. So I’m pretty mad about that, but, I’ll have to figure something out over the weekend. I don’t really have a choice.
Basically, that’s all that my life brings today. Now onto the stuff you came here for.
Crap-O-Meter: Videogames #1
This week’s Crap-O-Meter is the Videogames #1 list. There are tons of really bad videogames out there, and this list is the crème of the crop. What game is the absolute worst of all time? Which are bad, but not as bad as others? You’ve come to the right blog.
5. Mad Dash Racing- Xbox. Crap-O-Meter Rating: 3/5. This game was supposed to be like, the best thing to hit the Xbox when it first came out that wasn’t Halo. But, it turned out much worse.
4. Back to the Future- NES. Crap-O-Meter Rating: 3.5/5. The movies were great, but, when it came to releasing a videogame based on the movie, it stunk terribly. And I mean terribly.
3. MTV Music Generator- Xbox. Crap-O-Meter Rating: 3.5/5. They’ve just released way too many of these, and they’ve gotten annoying. I’m not liking the selection of music that they put on each one, and I don’t quite see a point to the game anyway
2. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance- GameCube. Crap-O-Meter Rating: 4.5/5. After several MK sequels, you’d think they’d give up. Nope. And now, they’ve got another one, which is supposed to be good, but, this one stunk on ice.
1. Universal Theme Park Adventure- GameCube. Crap-O-Meter Rating: 5/5. This had to be the WORST game ever put out on any Nintendo system. Bad, bad controls. Horrible graphics to the extreme. Nothing was good. At all.
These are the worst games that I can think of off the top of my mind. Later on, you’ll get a second list of bad videogames, but, will they be worse? You’ll just have to watch out for the Crap Wars: Videogame Edition, starting in December.
Crap Wars: Cartoon Characters- The Simpsons vs. Ren and Stimpy Part 2
After me getting sick last weekend and not posting the results of the Crap Wars for last week. Last Friday, it ended in a tie, unfortunately, and we now have to break it to find out who will move on to the semi-final round. So, we’ll make this quick and painless, there is only one round of action, and that’s all.
Last week, Ren and Stimpy won the design category, and The Simpsons won the Plots category. So now, we have to break a tie by rating both of the cartoons in a third category, and that category is Popularity.
Popularity:
Ren and Stimpy- Ren and Stimpy were pretty popular. They paved the way towards the more adult-oriented cartoons that we see so many of this day in age. Just released was the first and second seasons of the show, uncut, on DVD, so that we can relive the hilarity that was Ren and Stimpy. Many people, obviously, are going to buy this DVD.
The Simpsons: While Ren and Stimpy were popular, The Simpsons are even more popular. The show has been around since, what, 1980-something? It’s clear that even though its been so many years, the Simpson family is still the most watched family on TV. The show has lasted longer than most 70s sitcoms, and many of the shows that we see on TV today. It’s now in its 16th season, that’s how popular the show has been.
Popularity Winner: The Simpsons
Round 2 Winner: The Simpsons
Late Night Bloggin’ is staying with Saturday Night, if you are wondering where that is. From now on, you’re going to get “Saturday Night Fever,” which has Own3d!, Urban Legends, and Late Night Bloggin’ all in one convenient post. Sound good? Yep, it does. Definitely look out for the stuff I’ve got for you tomorrow.
As for tomorrow, I should be out most of the day, so don’t expect too much blogging. I’m going to do Saturday Night Fever for you, but, aside from that, don’t expect too much from me. I am out for the night, I’m incredibly tired and need lots and lots of sleep before tomorrow. That, and The Matrix Reloaded is on, so I need to watch that (Revolutions premieres on Cinemax tomorrow night, definitely need to watch that).
Bagel, Out.
