What a Rotten Week…
Well, if this week wasn’t one of the most rotten in recent times, I’m not sure which was. Everything, from class cancellations, to the state of Florida deciding to be absolutely ridiculous regarding speed laws, has pissed me off to a point where I wish I were elsewhere.
So check this out…I’m JUST pulling out of the parking lot at work tonight, and an officer pulls me over for going 50 in a 35…one problem…I WASN’T EVEN GOING 35 YET!!! So now, I have a $200 ticket to pay, which goes right on top of everything–my tuition (which was due today and is now late), my rent, my new computer, and getting my car fixed…all for a stupid Labor Day crackdown. THE WEEKEND JUST STARTED, YOU ASSHOLES…NOBODY IS DRUNK YET! And those who are just leaving an employee parking lot…yeah, I don’t think they’re drunk either. Work on getting those drunk drivers…not the ones that aren’t even going the speed limit yet.
My opinion: If the state wants to be absolutely ridiculous when it comes to useless garbage like this, fine. But I won’t hang around much longer. After this and everything else that’s been going on in this stupid place lately, a return engagement to California ain’t lookin’ so bad right now. This place sucks…I wanna leave.
