Well…this isn’t exactly turning out to be the summer that I was hoping it would be.  If you look back, I had a great vision of what this summer would be like on the blog, and everything is COMPLETELY going the opposite direction. To make a long story short, in the past few weeks, I’ve been [...]

Wow…three years ago, splatR got started up (under a different name, of course).  I never would have once thought that this blog would produce three years worth of content…it’s completely unimaginable.
I’ve got some stuff coming at you guys later.

On Wednesday, June 13, 2007, splatR will celebrate its 3rd birthday!  Get ready to join the party with some of the following events:
-Sea World Trip Report
-Universal Orlando Trip Report
-Music Reviews for Quietdrive, The Ataris, and more
-YouTube Tribute to splatR’s history
And a whole lot more.  The party begins on Monday, June 11th and goes all the [...]

We’re Back!

25May07

Sorry for the delay…the computer crashed last week, and I had to get it fixed…its okay though, because now we’re fully loaded with Windows Vista: Home Premium edition!  And so far, its pretty sweet…its running just fine with Windows Aero (something that wasn’t working with my computer while Vista was in beta test), and the [...]

It is with great pleasure that I announce that today, splatR reached two brand new records for daily views!  First, the review of Linkin Park’s Minutes to Midnight became the post with the most views per day (1,026).  That tops out the lyrics for Mat Kearney’s Nothing Left to Lose, which held the record at [...]

Well…the moment is finally here.  splatR has reached its 1,000th post!  I’ve been planning this out for about six months now, how this one was going to fare.  So, first off, completely unannounced, here are the winners of the Posts 1-1,000 Bagel Awards!
Best Movie-
Nominees: Spiderman 2 (2005’s winner), King Kong (2006’s winner), V for Vendetta [...]

Wow…post 999.  I didn’t actually think that this moment would actually come–in just a few minutes, splatR will celebrate its 1,000th post, and I must say, it’s been quite a ride so far.  So much, that its almost been a somewhat emotional day for me.
I’m not going to lie, back in January, site stats were [...]

Summer is just about here, and with everything going on in the splatRverse, it’s going to be quite exciting…in fact, I would go on to say that this summer, the fourth summer season ever on this blog, will probably be the most exciting. Why, let’s just take a look at a couple of things [...]

As many people know, over the past few months, I’ve been trying all sorts of different things out with the blog to enhance it and make it the best blog on the web. Over the past couple of months, however, that hasn’t gone so well, and because of it, I haven’t really been posting [...]

Alright, so after doing some really hard thinking about a lot of stuff, I decided to pull the whole concept of “The Six Faces” and go back to That One Blog as my blog’s name. What does this mean for you, as my reader? Absolutely nothing…things will continue to go as they did [...]

We will be returning to normal operation shortly.

Alright…nobody saw this one coming. During our downtime in the past few weeks, I had decided to continue making some changes to my blog, to prepare it for its busiest season ever (this summer is going to be four times bigger than any other season I’ve had on the blog so far). When [...]

CUBE is Back!

28Feb07

After just about 2 weeks of darkness, CUBE is returning to normal operation. I’ve decided to do what I did when my computer broke last July, and just blog via another computer. The internet connection in my apartment is out, and they have yet to fix it. So in the meantime, back [...]

We are still experiencing technical difficulties at CUBE, causing a further delay before we are able to return to normal operation.
Yeah…I know, I’m getting tired of having to do that. Here’s the bottom line: the internet connection in my apartment isn’t working. They haven’t fixed it yet. So, until they’re [...]

CUBE is currently closed to new content due to technical difficulties. We will return Sunday, February 25th.

This post is somewhat historical to me…its the first post I’ve ever made using my Wii console. Not only do I have the internet channel now, but I also have Mario Kart 64, the Wii News Channel, and Wii Forecast channel as well.
Today on CUBE, I’ll be working with these new features and doing [...]

Readers-
Well, 2007 is off to a great start here at CUBE.  The transformation from That One Blog to CUBE has gone over very smoothly, and now that the transition is finally complete, my content is starting to get a whole lot more exciting–already this month, we’ve seen a couple of reviews of Nintendo Wii games, as [...]

Later tonight, be sure to check back to CUBE for a MAJOR, MAJOR exclusive, which as of now, you’ll only find here on CUBE (after all, it is exclusive, right?).  I’ll be falling into writing this exclusive after I get out of class tonight.  Boy, you better be excited.
There’s a hint hidden in there.  Find [...]

This weekend on CUBE, prepare for one of the biggest content weekends ever, as we unveil several new reviews, such as Daughtry’s new CD, The Producers (2005), Dane Cook’s Tourgasm (2006), Mission:Space (Disney’s EPCOT), as well as a brand new installment of Own3d!, Late Night Bloggin’, Freakin’ Sweet Countdown, a Sea World Orlando Trip Report [...]

Hey guys–sorry for lack of update (again) this week.  I got really sick and have been essentially forced to my bed for the past few days, getting up only to attend class.  I’ll hopefully be back Monday, with my review of Elebits (Wii), and a few other things as well.
